Wow. It seems the holidays have come and gone so quickly this year. We just could not find the time for all the things we planned on doing (What… with homework and sick kids on top of everything else, are you surprised? I’m not. ) But, we made yummy treats and homemade presents for the family. We even got our cards and packages mailed off on time this year. (Even if the post office didn’t get them delivered as promised….) We even made it out to see Santa at the mall.
And Santa…Santa did not disappoint.
There’s always next year for freezing our tails off at Zoolights and Peacock Lane anyway…. right?
And now, its New Year’s Eve. I really cannot believe 2010 is nearly over. For our little family 2010 has been amazing. We welcomed the Pea early in the year. We celebrated 4th birthdays and 5 blissful years of marriage. We had an amazing summer vacation, our first as a family. 2010 also brought me one year closer to my degree (and only one more year to go! woot woot!). I’m a bit sad to see 2010 go, but I’m looking forward to ringing in the New Year and seeing what 2011 will bring our way.

These days, New Year’s Eve is spent at home, with sparkling cider and silly hats. And you know, I cannot think of anything I’d rather do or a better way to ring in the New Year than cuddled up on the couch with my family. I can’t wait.
